TyreSure, the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System that will save fuel, save tyre wear and even save lives. Ideal for track days and general driving use. Just a 6psi drop in pressure equates to a 10-20% increase in fuel consumption and 30%+ increase in tyre wear. The Departmenr of Transport highlights tyre wear as a possible cause of 2,600 serious injuries or fatalities every year as a result of blowouts or tyre deflation.

The TPMS constantly monitors individual tyre pressure and temperature, alerting the driver within 3 seconds when abnormalities occur.  A sensor is placed inside each wheel and secured to the inside of each valve supplied. Tyres are fitted in the normal way and the valves come with dustcaps alerting tyre fitters to the sensors inside but ordinary dustcaps can also be used. The sensors each have a 7 year battery life (replaceable) and can be used again and again. The pressure and temperature inside each wheel is transfered by a wireless link to a receiver inside the car which displays the data a colour LCD display. Data is constantly updated and alerts the driver when a predefined parameter is reached.

The sensors can be fitted by any tyre fitter. The receiver display is portable and so can be removed from the car as and when required and is powered by a mini USB lead which plugs into the cigar lighter but can also be hard wired.
